The Eye of Kris

Why is it that the summer is always so busy, and seems to fly by so fast? I remember being in school, and the summer seemed endless. Three whole months of freedom! Now, it seems that June fills up in May, and I'm already looking at August to find free time...

This Sunday, I start teaching a new Sunday School class. I'm really looking forward to that, but at the same time I realize that it's a new level of comittment in terms of time and preparation. I don't want to be one of those teachers that throws stuff together at the last minute and ends up having a lot of "discussion times", so I've got to make sure to set aside time to get ready each week.

Next weekend, I'm planning to go camping at the MTUG Spring Fly-In. I've never been to one of these events, but it looks like fun, and it's been a couple of years since I camped out. Unfortunately, Mary will be out of town, so I might be going alone. I'm going to take my camera, though, and see if I can get some good pictures of the airplanes and ultralights. I just hope it's not rainy or unbearably hot.
