The Eye of Kris

Well, my first Sunday School class was a bust. Nobody showed up. It really wasn't promoted very well, so I don't think too many people knew about it, but we are fixing that problem. We've actually already talked to two couples that say they will come next week. I'm sure it will take a little time to really get going.

I actually did have one person in there - Mary's sister, who stayed with us last week, came to the class, but her husband is still overseas. So, in my "newlywed couples class", I had 1 person. Ironic, isn't it?

Another Sunday School teacher told me that when he started his couples class, he had three couples in it, but two of them took a vacation on the same weekend, so they ended up with one couple that week. But of course, now his class is large and full of great people, as I'm sure mine will be before too long.
