I had a better turnout in Sunday School this week - 3 couples. That's a good start, I think. I didn't really teach anything specific, we just spent the time getting to know everyone and get an idea of where they are at in life. I think it went well, and I expect them all back next week, hopefully along with a couple more.
Yesterday I went to the MTUG Fly-In. It was pretty fun, although I didn't end up going camping, and didn't really stay as long as I would have liked to. The weather wasn't the best - we've had some pretty severe thunderstorms the past two evenings, and the evenings are usually the best conditions to fly an ultralight. Consequently, I did not end up getting to ride in one, but I have talked to a few of the guys that fly them, and I think I'll be able to work something out soon.
I've been cleaning up around the house this weekend, and waiting for Mary to get back from Michigan. I've missed her and Owen, but fortunately, it's been a very busy week. I think the rest of this month is going to fly by.
Things are picking up again at work. We have come up with a workaround to a problem that has had one of our major projects on hold, so I expect that a lot will happen in the next couple of weeks as that gets back in gear again. One of the guys that works with me left unexpectedly on Friday, after hearing that his brother-in-law passed away. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
