The Eye of Kris

The weekend is upon us. I don't really have any big plans this weekend, which is a nice change of pace. This summer has been so crazy busy that I have been looking forward to a Saturday with no obligations. There is pleanty to do around the house, but nothing that has to be done, so I can set my own pace and do what I feel like doing. Sunday, we will of course go to church, watch the Titans game, and then we are meeting some new friends for dinner.

Things have slowed down just a little at work, mostly because of the job transition and some uncertainty about what responsibilities I will have in my new role. I'm sure things will pick up again soon enough, so I'm trying not to get used to the slower pace.

The weather in Nashville has been absolutely awesome. Sunny days, 75 degrees or so - perfect convertible weather. I read an article recently about how the mild summer has been very bad for the global warming crowd. Ha!
