The Fun Never Ends

My return trip from Boston was very tiring. I was able to catch an earlier flight, but then the flight was delayed, blah blah blah... I was very tired. Friday I was able to sleep in just a bit, but then I had to go to Renal Care Group's annual National IS Meeting, which began with lunch on Friday and ran through Saturday afternoon. There were some fun aspects to it, from team-building exercises to a comedian/magician, to a game of laser tag that turned bloody for one guy (there's a reason for that "no running" rule).

Travis & AmySaturday evening we had a party at the Fadelys' house for Travis and Amy Button, who are moving to the Birmingham, AL area to help Amy's parents start a church. We are going to miss them, of course, but we're very excited about this new opportunity for them.

On Sunday, we went to church, watched the Titans be humiliated by the Vikings, and then went to Don & Lana Tracy's house for a reunion-of-sorts. Their son Brandon and his wife were visiting from Tampa, and we hadn't seen them in a year or so, so it was good to hang out and catch up for a while. Plus, the Tracys always have lots of food :)

Monday night, we visited Henry & Elizabeth Jernigan, who's son is in the hospital. He's been having some breathing problems caused by swelling in his throat, and has some other symptoms (fever, etc.), but as far as I know they are not yet sure of the actual cause. Please keep them in your prayers.

Tomorrow we have company coming over for dinner, as well as Mary's dad coming to town for a weekend visit. Friday I believe we're going to a birthday party for my brother-in-law, and Saturday is our trip to Fall Creek Falls with our Sunday School class.

Next week, I hope to relax a little bit more before my trip to Dallas.
