The Eye of Kris

There has been talk in President Bush's campaign and in his acceptance speech and other recent speeches about an overhaul to the federal tax system. I hope that one of the changes he is considering is the The Fair Tax. This would be an incredible simplification of our current tax system, that seems to benefit just about everyone who is legitimately working and paying their share of taxes.

I'm not going to outline all the reasons that I support this initiative (you can read the website yourself, especially the "thumbnail sketch"), but I hope you will take a look at it and share this info with others. Also, you can use the links on the website to contact your representative and let them know that you support this effort.

There are many complicated things in this world, and some are necessarily so. Taxes should not be one of them.
