If you can't spend all the time doing tours and paying admittance to museums, this is by far the best way to see D.C....at night! My friend Kimberley gets credit for showing us those same beautiful monuments in the wee morning hours years ago, although you certainly captured it better on film than we did. Don't you love the Rebel?! Of course, great subjects make photography easy and even more fun, and satisfying.
Thanks for the spare battery pack, Mary brought it yesterday evening. Hopefully we'll have some gorgeous shots to share of London and the surrounding area!
Happy birthday buddy. I missed you at new years. Someone said something about you not being able to travel because of a newborn baby or something. That's no excuse. When you and I were newborns our parents walked barefoot through the snow in homemade ponchos to make the annual mecca to China First Buffet in Tallahassee. Congrats on the baby and becoming 30 (It's sickening...I know) Is this like the fourth time your birthday has fallen on a Friday? Anyway, Tell Mary that Jen and I said hello and kiss the little ones for us. See you in April.
Cousin Marc
p.s. I think you created a monster out of your dad, reports are coming out of polk county that there's a crazy middle-aged man driving down suburban sidewalks at night in a black miata playing dc talk and screaming outta the way suckers!!!!
