This evening will be the annual Kelso class Total Woman Retreat. I am expecting at least one more than last year, possibly two but I enjoyed our tiny crowd so much last year I am not at all put off by the small number. I do have quite a bit of cleaning yet to do. I remember I started much earlier and was able to get much more done last year, but I believe that having a two year old, as opposed to a one year old, has made a big difference in my cleaning speed. Aron is the most active of the three two year olds we have experienced in this house. More prone to curiosity and less able to control his urges, he is into much more. He doesn't seem to be mischievous, and I don't find him strong willed, just busy. He will stop his unruly activities quickly when admonished, but will move on without complaint to something new. I have to keep a closer eye on him. So, housekeeping sometimes waits much longer than it should.

Interestingly, housekeeping is our topic this year. Our title is "Godliness and What's Next to It" and we'll cover "A Clean Heart" tonight, "A Clean House" and "A Clean Slate" tomorrow. The last session is something I'm still a little unsure of. I really think that I want to give the girls an opportunity to dream a little. Open their hearts and minds to possibilities in their lives, where God could take them, and what He could do with them once they have established this new "clean" identity. His cleansing being that ultimate clean slate we work from.

Kris' new client and the opportunities with that company are expanding and growing as he dives into the place. I am so thankful for him and the passion and integrity he puts into his work. I'm continually impressed with him.
